یکی از مشکلات شایع در اجرای سیستم اعلان حریق، عدم اطمینان از عملکرد صحیح سیستم و اقدام در شرایط اضطراری می‌باشد. یکی از راه‌کارها جهت برطرف نمودن این مشکل، شبیه‌سازی سیستم قبل از اجرای سیستم می‌باشد که نرم‌افزار آلارم‌کد این مهم را امکان‌پذیر نموده و می‌توان سیستمی مطمئن را ارائه نمود. در نرم‌افزار آلارم‌کد، پس از طراحی سیستم اعلان حریق می‌توان گزارش‌های متفاوتی از قبیل تعداد المان‌های به کار رفته در پروژه (دتکتورها، آژیرها، شستی‌ها و …) محاسبات افت ولتاژ، متراژ سیم و … را تنها با یک کلیک تهیه نمود. از دیگر ویژگی این نرم‌افزار قابلیت دریافت و ارسال نقشه از نرم‌افزار اتوکد می‌باشد.
